On Tuesday, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass signed an executive directive that prohibits federal agents from conducting immigration enforcement action from city owned or city-controlled property.
The order also requires LAPD officers to preserve all evidence related to immigration enforcement activity
“We will never allow our city to be divided,” she said. “We will never allow ICE to continue doing what it's doing in terms of attempting to stage in different areas.”

This was Bass’ 17th executive directive.
