Fire crews responded at 1:53 a.m.  to 18349 Mulholland Drive, where they encountered the slow burning, heavy brush fire. Using hose lines to fully surrounding the burn area, they were able to gain control of the fire, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

Stewart said no structures were damage and fire crews are now transitioning to a mop up operation.
