Lizzo, Michael Bublé and Quincy Jones alongside other musical standouts including John Williams, Stevie Wonder, Snarky Puppy and many more are set to appear on The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company tribute album, releasing June 21. The 7-track album is the latest installment in a year-long endeavor honoring the 20-time GRAMMY and 4-time Academy Award winner.
News of the project arrives on April 16 — which would’ve been Mancini’s centennial celebration — and in its honor, the Mancini family has released the first single, “Peter Gunn,” featuring Quincy Jones, John Williams, Herbie Hancock, and Arturo Sandoval. Just two days after the album release, on June 23, The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and special guests Michael Bublé, Cynthia Erivo, and Monica Mancini will raise the curtain on the Bowl's 2024 season with a 100th birthday celebration for Henry Mancini conducted by Thomas Wilkins. Find tickets HERE.
