Man made anti-Israel remarks during Studio City break-in, police say

A man arrested for trying to break into a home in Studio City made anti-Israel remarks to the family, police said.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard about 5:25 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

One of the family members who called police said the man threatened to kill them because they were Israeli, according to Fox 11 News. The outlet noted that the family is Jewish.

While the man was being arrested, KCAL News reported the man repeatedly said "Free Palestine."
