
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A California man wanted for the murder of a flower delivery man in Oakland has been arrested in Chicago.
Eric Locelvira allegedly shot a Brazilian national, Matthew Gaidos, who was delivering flowers to an apartment building on June 21.
Witness Chris Folse spoke to CBS news in Oakland.
"It happened really quick. The altercation down the street. Apparently there was a disagreement between two people and it escalated really fast," he said.
Oakland Police said, in a statement, Locelvira was arrested thanks to “the collaborative efforts of Homicide Investigators and the U.S. Marshals."
They did not provide details about his arrest in Chicago. He’s charged with murder.
