LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A person in a Honda was killed and another person in that car was rushed to a trauma center from a single-vehicle crash Sunday on a freeway conversion road near Griffith Park, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 5:25 a.m. on the road connecting the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway to the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
An occupant inside the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant inside the car was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The silver Honda had smashed into a guardrail, the CHP said. No further information was immediately available.
