PetSmart is looking for the perfect dog and cat to be their first ever “Chief Toy Testers”.
The national pet supply chain announced this week they are looking to hire one dog and one cat to test toy and food products that will be delivered.
In a release, PetSmart says, “The Chief Toy Testers will participate in numerous PetSmart product unboxings as well as appear at a variety of PetSmart events as a celebrity VIP (Very Important Pet) throughout their one year in the role.”
The pet’s finding will be posted to social media by their pet-parents.
Does your dog or cat have what it takes?
PetSmart says the ideal candidate should have:
A nose for sniffing out the tastiest treats, paws for toy product play and a perfect tail wag (or wave) when appearing as a VIP at PetSmart events
The ability to direct their pet parents to capture the most compelling video footage and content for social media as they analyze their product findings and demonstrate their uses Human pet parents who can commit to a one-year partnership contract on their pet's behalf
The pets that are hired will also receive $10,000 (in human money), quarterly free salon treatments as well as “tail-wagging rights only granted to PetSmart’s first Chief Toy Testers.
If you think your pet has what it takes you should fill out this application and you’ll be asked to submit a 10 to 30 second video of your pet showing of their personality.
