
LOS ANGELES (KNX) - Police are searching for a man accused of breaking into the home of mayoral candidate Rep. Karen Bass on Friday night.
"Last night, I came home and discovered that my house had been broken into and burglarized," Bass said in a statement released on Saturday, adding that two firearms were stolen from inside her home.
Bass said the stolen firearms had been “safely and securely stored.”
On Sunday, the Los Angeles Police Department released a photo of the suspect, describing him as “male, Hispanic, 5’8, 200 pounds, wearing dark clothing and a surgical mask, blue baseball cap with a white logo emblem, and black Asics sneakers.”
