Ahead of the release of their brand new album The Night The Zombies Came and scheduled tour dates in support -- the Pixies offered some fun advice for Oasis as they also prepare to hit the road.

Speaking with NME about the band's new album and upcoming touring plans, Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago shared some road wisdom as the once-estranged Gallagher brothers get ready to hit the road on Oasis' 2025 reunion outing.
Most importantly, guitarist Santiago joked (but not really), "I think that the biggest tip I could give Oasis is when they're playing the Rose Bowl they should ask this band called the Pixies to open up for them," in reference to their upcoming September shows in Pasadena, CA.
"Just no physical violence — insults are fine. Get sleep. If you're going to get s***faced, do it after the show," Joey openly pleaded, and as a member of another iconic band that has seen its arguably unfair share of splits and reunions, his words of caution should certainly be heeded. Additionally, when asked if he thought the Gallagher brothers would be hitting the studio together anytime soon, he was totally against the idea. "No no no, that is the most stressful part. I don't think they're ready for that yet."
