HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Police said Friday they were investigating a break-in at rapper Megan Thee Stallion's home in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood after thieves took off with hundreds of thousands of dollars in goods.

The break-in happened sometime Thursday night when the two male suspects — caught on camera — broke a door in the back of the rap artist's home and made off with $300,000 worth of her belongings, according to reports from TMZ and the Los Angeles Times.

The dollar amount included jewelry, cash, electronics, and other items, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, was not home at the time of the crime. She was in New York prepping a double-booked hosting and performing gig for this weekend's "Saturday Night Live" on NBC.

The "Captain Hook" rapper posted a Twitter message Friday afternoon that appeared to reference the break-in.

"Material things can be replaced but I'm glad everyone is safe," she wrote.

LAPD investigators are reviewing the surveillance footage from her home and surrounding area. Police have not described the suspects.
