
BELL GARDENS, Calif. (KNX) – Bell Garden police are searching for a man accused of raping a teenage girl at knifepoint.
On Thursday, police were notified that a rape involving a 14-year-old girl had happened.
The victim told police the suspect, later identified as Robert Nunez, coerced her into a residential garage, police said.
Nunez and a second suspect, identified as Jaomir Perez, 41, tied up the victim. Nunez raped the girl at knifepoint.
Perez was arrested Thursday and booked into Inmate Reception Center on $50,000 bail, City News Service reported.
Nunez is described by police as 5-feet-7 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, a dark complexion. He has tattoo on his cheekbone.
Nunez is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
