Singer Shifty Shellshock dead at 49

Singer Shifty Shellshock of the band Crazy Town has died, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. He was 49.

Shellshock, whose real name was Seth Binzer, died at a residence in Los Angeles County on Monday, according to the coroner's online records.

The cause of death was unknown. Shellshock has spoken publicly about his struggles with addiction.

Crazy Town's song "Butterfly" topped the charts in 2000.
