Riverside police say she connected with Eduardo “Eddie” Ramon Flores, 34, via a mobile dating app Riverside police have described as "Shout." There is no dating app available for download in the iOS or Android app stores, but there is such an app marketed as "Skout." A spokesperson for the Riverside Police Department told KNX 1070 "Skout" was likely the name of the app used.

The woman told detectives Flores forced himself on her on their first date after connecting on Skout.

Flores was arrested last Friday by Riverside police on suspicion of forcible rape. He posted a $55,000 bond and was released within a few hours. He remains under investigation for the assault alleged to have been committed in September. Investigators believe he may have targeted other women in Riverside and Los Angeles counties as well.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse unit, Detective Melissa Brazil at (951) 353-7950.
