A word of advice: This Turkey Day, don’t look to Walmart for your last-minute yams or your early deals on TVs that take up an entire wall of your home.
The retail behemoth announced that they will once again close all locations on Thanksgiving.
“Walmart stores will be closed once again on Thanksgiving Day so associates can spend the day with their families,” the company said in a release on its website announcing the store closures.
2024 marks the fifth straight year Walmart extends this courtesy to its employees.
ALDI, Costco and Target are also among the major retail franchises that have announced nationwide Thanksgiving Day closures
Thanksgiving falls on November 28 this year. Expect stores to reopen the following day for Black Friday shopping.
