A Pittsburgh-area woman is recovering after she was assaulted in Las Vegas during the Steelers/Raiders game on Sunday afternoon.
LISTEN: Jen Mascaro tells her side of the story
Video shows the aftermath of alleged assault. A man wearing a #78 Raiders jersey is the alleged attacker.
Pittsburgh-area real estate Jen Mascaro tells KDKA Radio’s Colin Dunlap she was watching the game when she was “completely blinded by his punch" from the alleged attacker.
Watch the following videos to decide for yourself.
She was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She wanted to ride an Uber but lost consciousness twice at the stadium and authorities wanted her to get treatment quickly.
She disputes claims on social media that she threw a beer at the man who hit her.
“I don’t’ even drink beer and if I did, I wouldn’t waste a $25 beer on that scum bag,” said Mascaro.
Mascaro says after the incident, the attacker was “taunting every Steeler fan in our section” and adds that every man in the section (both Steelers and Raiders fans) went after him.
According to Mascaro, police told her another woman was also hit by the same man in the section, but she didn’t see that incident.

The attacker was arrested and went to jail, but Mascaro says he was posting to X (formally Twitter) hours later, “mocking the fact that he had hit a woman in the face.”
After the ambulance ride, hospital visit and Steelers tickets, Mascaro says she is out around $6,000.
Mascaro tells Dunlap the man that allegedly injured her doesn't represent the other Raiders fans in the stands. She says everyone else was supportive of her.
Mascaro will talk to Dunlap at 3:05 Monday afternoon on KDKA Radio. LISTEN HERE
