TORRANCE (CNS) - A 65-year-old woman found dead inside a home in Torrance, leading to the arrest of two people, was identified Thursday by the Los Angeles County medical examiner's office.
Officers were dispatched about 6:30 p.m. Monday to the 24200 block of Walnut Street regarding a suspicious death, and they found Joyce Elaine Carver dead inside a residence, according to the Torrance Police Department and the medical examiner.

"Detectives responded to the scene and began investigating the incident as a murder," according to Sgt. Ron Salary of the Torrance Police Department. "As a result, one adult individual was arrested for murder, and a second adult was arrested for being an accessory after the fact."
The names of the suspects have not been released, and no other details were released about the manner of death.
