LAKEWOOD (CNS) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sought the public's help Thursday in locating a 50-year-old woman suffering from mental issues who went missing in Lakewood.
Veronica "Vero" Trujillo was last seen Aug. 30 about 9 a.m. in the 5200 block of Josie Avenue, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.
Trujillo was described as Latina, 5 feet, 2 inches, 200 pounds with short brown hair, brown eyes and piercing on her upper lip. She also has "BRITNEY" tattoo on her ankle and "MANUEL" on her wrist.
Anyone who has seen Trujillo or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or tips can be sent to www.lacrimestoppers.org.
