Ethan Hawke wasn’t going to let a few canceled flights keep him from his movie’s (“Wildcat”) festival premiere.

Hawke made it to the Toronto International Film Festival in time via bus and walked the red carpet with his daughter and star, Maya Hawke, according to PEOPLE.

Maya confirmed to the publication her father did indeed take ground transportation.

“He did! Everyone’s talking about it!” she told the publication.

“Three flights canceled, then I was like, ‘I’m not gonna miss this because of some airport,” Ethan added. “So, I went to Port Authority and hopped the bus.”

The Emmy winner wasn’t solo on his travels as his wife and producing partner tagged along.

The “Training Day” star said no one recognized him on the bus because that type of thing doesn’t matter when people have places to be.

“Man, nobody cares about anybody else on the bus,” he said, noting how not one person recognized him until they reached customs.

“Wildcat” details the life of American writer Flannery O’Connor while she tries to publish her first book. Maya portrayed the writer and Ethan directed the film. Laura Linney also stars.
