Looks like Billy McFarland has plans for a second Fyre Festival. That’s right, despite the horrific outcome of his previous attempt to put on the festival with no actual musical acts, FEMA tents instead of luxury ones, and sad looking cheese sandwiche,. Billy took to social media to announce the return of the ill-fated festival.
The disgraced co-founder of the hot mess Fyre Fest took to Twitter announcing “Fyre Festival II is finally happening,” and then asked, “Tell me why you should be invited.” Other than that, McFarland, who’s first sad attempt at the exclusive luxury festival imploded in 2016, hasn’t really shared much else.

Tell me why you should be invited.
Soon after, a producer of the festival, Andy King, who gained prominence for his candid involvement in the Netflix documentary about the festival, seconded McFarland’s excitement with a message of his own.
Obviously the internet has chimed in with opinions, jokes, memes and harsh but warranted comments in response to the scammer potentially tryna scam once more. One user even asked McFarland, “tell me why you shouldn’t be in jail.” To which he responded, “it’s in the best interest of those I owe for me to be working. People aren’t getting paid back if I sit on the couch and watch TV. And because I served my time.”
