ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - For one night in July, you can go to Busch Stadium to watch baseball on the big screen. The St. Louis Cardinals announced the first-ever "Movie Night at the Ballpark" is happening on July 9.
The classic baseball movie "The Rookie" will be shown on the scoreboard with a 7 p.m. showtime.
Tickets include a free hot dog and soft drink, and complimentary parking across from the ballpark in Stadium Lot C. Standard and VIP tickets are on sale now at cardinals.com/movie.
Tickets start at $25 for adults and $15 for children if you want to sit in the seats. Or you can get a VIP ticket for $45 to be able to watch from the Busch Stadium outfield grass.
Concessions will be available to purchase inside the ballpark. Wheeled vehicles including strollers and wagons will not be allowed on the field with the exception of ADA wheelchairs in dedication locations. Lawn chairs, stadium seats, stakes, umbrellas or any other hole-causing items will not be permitted on the field. The Busch Stadium bag policy will also be in effect for this event.
