According to news reports, there's been another black bear sighting in the st. Louis area.
A black bear was seen Monday evening in an area along Romaine Creek Road near Highway 141, south of Fenton.
Authorities urge residents to use extreme caution if you should come across one of these bears. There are over 800 black bears in the state of Missouri according to state officials and they are migrating further north this year approaching the St. Louis area.
To avoid attracting a bear, it's recommended you don't leave out pet food and any trash bags that are set out should be in a tight container. Also, outdoor grills should be cleaned so the smell won't attract a bear.
