Former Kansas State Wildcats in the pros:
*On Monday Night Football, the host San Francisco 49ers thrashed the Cleveland Browns 31-3. Coming off the bench for San Francisco was former K-State defensive back D.J. Reed, who had a pair of tackles on special teams. The 49ers (4-0) remain one of two undefeated teams in the NFL, the other being the New England Patriots (5-0).
*Former K-State basketball standout Dean Wade played in his first NBA pre-season game on Monday in Cleveland, as the Cavaliers defeated Buenos Aires San Lorenzo 120-89. Wade played nine minutes off the bench for the Cavs; he made two of his three shots, finishing with five points and a pair of rebounds.
