NBA season openers for several Kansas Jayhawks

Wednesday marked the season-opener for many former Kansas Jayhawks in the NBA:

*Devonte' Graham was the 6th-man coming off the bench for the Charlotte Hornets, in a 126-125 overtime win against the visiting Chicago Bulls. Graham had 23 points and eight rebounds, making 6-of-7 from 3-point range, shooting 7-of-9 overall.

*Markieff Morris started at power forward for the Detroit Pistons, in a 119-110 road win at Indiana. Morris had eights points and four rebounds.

*Andrew Wiggins started at shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, winning 127-126 in overtime at the Brooklyn Nets. Wiggins finished with 21 points and eight rebounds.

*Starting at center, Joel Embiid helped the Philadelphia 76ers win at home over the Boston Celtics 107-93. Embiid finished the game with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

*Kelly Oubre and Cheick Diallo helped the Phoenix Suns win over visiting Sacramento 124-95. Oubre, starting at forward, had 21 points and nine rebounds. Diallo played for one minute, making a pair of free throws.
