The Wichita Wings will return to professional indoor soccer under a new local ownership group. The original team started in 1979, folded in 2001. A new team named The Wichita Wings played 2011-13. That folded. Another new Wichita Wings will make a return to professional soccer for the upcoming 2019-20 season
The team has begun signing players and will be holding open tryouts at Hartman Arena on November 23. The home games will also be played at Hartman Arena.
The 2019-2020 Wings season schedule will consist of eight home games beginning on December 28. Season tickets go on sale November 1st, and single game tickets will be available starting November 25th on ticketmaster.com and in the Hartman Arena Box Office.
