
The Wichita State baseball team only got two hits at Eck Stadium on Wednesday afternoon against the Air Force Academy -- but it was enough for a 2-0 win by the Shockers.
Four WSU pitchers combined for an eight-hit shutout. The winning pitcher was starter Tommy Barnhouse, who worked six innings, and still has a 0.00 earned run average for the season; Barnhouse is 2-0 on the season.
Wichita State (10-2) now has a nine-game winning streak under new head coach Eric Wedge, its longest in 12 years.
