Troy Aikman would probably take a do-over on a comment he made Monday night.

The ESPN Monday Night Football analyst was widely criticized this week for a misogynistic comment he made during the Raiders-Chiefs broadcast.
In the second quarter, Chris Jones strip-sacked Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and recovered the ball, but the play was called back due to a debateable, if outright wrong, roughing the passer call. As he bemoaned then penalty, Aikman said “My hope is the competition committee looks at this in the next set of meetings and, you know, we take the dresses off.”
Although the comment had created a good bit of controversy in the aftermath, Aikman himself had stayed out of weighing in on it. That was until Thursday, when he told 96.7 The Ticket that he shouldn’t have said it.
“My comments were dumb, just shouldn’t have made them,” Aikman said. “Just dumb remarks on my part.”
It doesn’t appear the Worldwide Leader intends to take any disciplinary action, so he'll be back in the booth alongside Joe Buck when the Broncos take on the Chargers.
