Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez are teammates once again.
FOX revealed on Sunday that the Hall of Fame shortstop would be joining its MLB coverage this season as a studio analyst as Curt Menefee introduced Jeter during the network’s pregame festivities for Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Ariz.

Jeter joined Menefee, who was on stage with Rodriguez and Michael Strahan — two other prominent New York athletes who are also part of the Fox Sports team.
A-Rod presented Jeter with a pinstriped FOX jersey as the former Yankees captain will once again be alongside Rodriguez and also a former nemesis in Red Sox legend David Ortiz.
Jeter was already taking shots at Ortiz, saying he needed to “humble” his fellow Hall of Famer who was showing off his Red Sox World Series rings when Jeter was on set during last year’s World Series.
In addition to Jeter, A-Rod and Ortiz, FOX will continue to have Frank Thomas and host Kevin Burkhardt. The former Yankees captain will likely stick to the marquee events — All-Star Game, World Series, etc., per the New York Post.
Jeter was already put on the spot Sunday when Menefee asked him to make his Super Bowl pick in front of droves of Chiefs and Eagles fans. Yet, Jeter seemed to lean toward picking the Chiefs because he used to play against Patrick Mahomes’ father, but ultimately decided to say he was rooting for a good game.
He may need to be a little more bolder than that when it comes to making predictions during the MLB postseason.
