The NFL must have taken notice of DK Metcalf’s performance in Friday’s NBA All-Star Celebrity, because the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver now says he is being required to take a drug test.

Metcalf posted on his Instagram story a screenshot of a text message from someone identifying himself as Brian Keller from the NFL asking for a PES policy collection tomorrow.

Metcalf posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks with several impressive dunks during the Celebrity Game as part of the NBA’s All-Star festivities. This all came after a very obviously doctored viral video campaign of Metcalf jumping ridiculously high into the air to promote Gatorade’s new “Fast Twitch Energy” drink.

Fans joked after the video that the NFL would want to drug test Metcalf and now, according to the receiver, that appears to be true.

Of course, this could all be more viral promotion for Metcalf and Gatorade, then again, the NFL has been known to require “random” drug tests after impressive athletic feats, so it could be real.
