Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested Monday on allegations of criminal damages exceeding $25,000. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office booked Ross into custody Monday afternoon.

According to court records, Ross was arrested just before 3 p.m. in Shawnee, Kansas, and included a note saying the arrest was a domestic violence incident. There is currently no bond set for Ross. He’s due to make his first appearance in court Tuesday, Oct. 24th at 1:30 p.m.

After an inquiry from The Associated Press, representatives from the Chiefs said they were aware of the arrest but had no comment. Ross has been on the Chiefs’ active roster for all seven games in the 2023 regular season. Ross signed a three-year, $2.56 million contract with the Chiefs after going undrafted out of Clemson in 2022. He didn’t play during the 2022 season as he recovered from injury.
