JuJu Smith-Schuster was one the Chiefs' biggest offseason acquisitions, with the former-Steelers wideout being one of a half-dozen new players in the team's overhauled wide receiver room. Training camp just started – Monday was the first day in pads for everyone – but while talking to 610's Cody and Gold, Smith-Schuster explained how his on-field relationship with Patrick Mahomes is improving on a daily basis.
"It's a progress," he said. "We're always working. I would say right now, the first week, week-and-a-half of working, we're getting where we need to get to. We're not there yet, but we're getting there. And that's just communication, day in and day out. We talk a lot. On the field, but talk more when we're watching film together and getting stuff done."
