Nick Castellanos has earned quite the reputation in the past few years, always seeming to come up with a big hit during otherwise uncomfortable moments in a broadcast.

So naturally, Castellanos' first Spring Training hit as a Philadelphia Phillie came just moments after the Blue Jays telecast finished discussing where things stand with Toronto pitching coach Pete Walker, who was arrested for DUI Friday:

Of course, this is hardly the most uncomfortable situation that Castellanos has come through with a big hit during.

In August of 2020, Castellanos homered during the middle of then-Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman apologizing for using an anti-gay slur that was caught by a hot mic:

Then in July of 2021 -- with the Reds again playing in Kansas City -- Castellanos hit a home run to a nearly identical part of Kauffman Stadium as the Royals broadcast was remembering the life of a recently-deceased World War II veteran:

Castellanos recently signed a five-year/$100 million free-agent contract to join a Phillies lineup that includes reigning National League MVP Bryce Harper, along with Rhys Hoskins, Kyle Schwarber, Jean Segura and J.T. Realmuto.
