Rob Gronkowski drops biggest hint yet on his plans for 2022 season

Rob Gronkowski may have dropped his biggest hint yet on what his plans are for the 2022 NFL season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette posted on Instagram wondering how many No. 7 jerseys he is going to see in the stands this year.

Gronk replied in the comments, “I’ll represent a 7 jersey in the stands for ya!”

The insinuation would be that Gronk would be in the stands rather than on the field.

The comment immediately raised some eyebrows, with Fournette even replying to him, “say homie don’t make me tear up bring yo a—back.”

Gronkowski has remained mum on what he intends to do for the 2022 season.

The 33-year-old tight end had retired after the 2018 season with the New England Patriots only to come back in 2020 to team up with Tom Brady after the quarterback signed with the Bucs.

With Brady coming back from his short-lived retirement, many are wondering if Gronk will again follow suit.

Based on his Instagram comment, Gronk is either leaning toward retirement or just trying to throw us all off his scent to set up a return.
