Here I am, finding myself in London, England on the exact day of starting this Coo Coo Career of my spewing my own Brand of Nonsense and Idiocy into a microphone to hang with Mick and the Stones just like Spicoli in Fast Times 41 years earlier… and to celebrate their first new album of original material in 18 years! The Greatest Rock n Roll Band in the World's first without their Darling Charlie … who wudda just made 82. Missing their backbone and human metronome, Mick somehow seem to have gotten MORE spry at the tender age of 80, and KEEF is only 4 months away from joining him in the Septuagenarian Club, unbelievably. Which makes Hackney Diamonds, the band's first since A Bigger Bang in 2005, exponentially more anticipated. The Hackney neighborhood in London is where this press conference is goin' down, and Jimmy Fallon, who's been known to pull off a pretty good Jagger Himself, is hosting this shindig… not that he's that busy these days anyhow, with the Writers Strike derailing his Tonight Show for the unforeseen future. I shall report my Findings and Particulars tomorrow over a pint… while wearing my checkerboard Vans, ala' Spicoli, of course! The Plot Thickens!
