It was a chill weekend with family, friends and lots of sunflowers! This past Sunday I got to explore around the Lee Farms Sunflower Festival and it was a blast. The tickets come with your pick of two sunflowers that you pick yourself, and each flower after that is just $2! You have options to create beautiful bouquets with different vases and take home your piece of the festival. When you first walk into the building, there are tons of pies, home made goods and decor to shop around for. It's a gorgeous gift shop with tons of things to look at and purchase! Once you make it through the gifts, you can enter into the sunflower field. There are tons of areas for photos and you can even schedule a professional photography session online if you are interested! Once you are all done touring the flowers and choosing your take home flowers, head over to the stage and take a hay ride over to the sunflower maze to end a great day.
The festival also includes live music, has snacks, drinks and games available for all ages and is the perfect place to spend an early afternoon. This festival lasts through the entire month of August, so don't forget and get your tickets now!
