You might know Leah Van Dale from the world of WWE, ruling the ring as Carmella for years. Now though, she’s taking on a different opponent, looking to rally women around maternal mental health, sharing that they are not alone postpartum.

LISTEN NOW: Leah Van Dale on Maternal Mental Health

Dale is the founder of Snatch, a community to help women through their pregnancy and postpartum journey, leading by sharing her own stories of miscarriage, postpartum rage, and beyond, but also gathering resources so nobody has to go through it alone.

LVD joined The Bubba Show on Star 100.7 in Pittsburgh recently to talk about Snatch, and the amazing work they are doing for a community of women.

“I feel like it's just we're barely scratching the surface when it comes to women's health, especially fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, all of it,” she says. “You don't think it's something that will happen to you until it does, and then your world is rocked, and I felt like I was almost duped. Like, why does nobody talk about this?”

“So I decided to go public, especially after my second miscarriage. I was like, if I'm going through this, I know there's other women out there that happen to be going through it. So I went public with it, and women just kind of came out of the woodwork.”

“I feel like something that is so underrated as a mom is your village, your people, your community, and a lot of people don't have that village or community, and that's why I created Snatch,” Dale explains to The Bubba Show. “It's a private community for women, where you can talk to other women, you can talk to experts.”

“I believe so much in this community. I just need more women to know about it, because the women that are in there, we're like, we're in it, we're in it together, and we're always updating each other on all the things that are happening.”
