Headbangers Ball host Riki Rachtman shared a photo of a gift he received that contained Lemmy’s ashes. It’s one of the most metal things we’ve ever seen and a fitting tribute to the Motörhead bassist.

“Before his death #Lemmy asked for his ashes to be  put in some bullets & handed out to his closest friends,” he wrote in a tweet. “Today I received a bullet & was literally brought to tears.”

Recently, the Foo Fighters paid tribute to Lemmy with the release of their song “No Son of Mine” as Dave Grohl spoke about the influence he had on their single.

Grohl said the song began with a "country swing to it, but then we decided for something a bit more aggressive, and it turned into these chunky riffs.”

"I wish Lemmy were alive to hear it, because he would see how much an influence he’s been to me."
