Metal’s masked marauders Slipknot just launched their 2024 Here Comes The Pain summer North American tour in celebration of 25 years since the release of their self-titled debut with a blistering throwback set in Indiana on August 6.

Jumping back two and a half decades with new drummer Eloy Casagrande behind the kit, the band partied like it was the apocalypse of 1999 with classic tracks like “Wait & Bleed,” "Spit It Out," “Liberate,” “Surfacing,” "Purity," and more, marking a modern Slipknot tour unlike any other. The group will be hitting arenas around the globe this year and into 2025, starting with two North American legs this summer featuring stops at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, two back-to-back nights at L.A.’s Intuit Dome, a special homecoming set at Knotfest Iowa, and more.

Slipknot is currently on the road on their 25th Anniversary Here Comes The Pain Tour in celebration of their seminal 1999 debut album, Slipknot, with their friends Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture, and Vended providing support on select dates.
Speaking with Revolver magazine about the 25th anniversary celebrations, guitarist Jim Root recalls, “We loved what we did with the first record but we didn't even know if there was gonna be anything after that. We just wanted people to hear it. Selling out of records and shows, having successful tours– those are goals for any band. But the dream scenario in some ways, came true for us.”
“Every time I've walked on stage, it's never been about how many people have been there because my culture, the maggots, always show up,” founding member Shawn “Clown” Crahan adds. “But as we’ve grown as a band, we have had fewer and fewer of those intimate, personal moments, trading them for massive ones. So we're gonna make it more personal on the anniversary... Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, spread that maggot culture – that disease. And you've been infected.”
