While celebrating the 25th anniversary of their landmark album, Break The Cycle, Staind is already hard at work on what’s next. The band shared their new single, “Ghosts,” this week and singer Aaron Lewis joined Abe Kanan to dive into new music and their humbling “second chance” with sold out crowds.

It’s been sold out crowds for Staind as they honor their 2001 album, alongside other era standouts, Hoobastank and Hinder. The band has had so much success on the road that they have announced a second leg starting in 2027.
"It's so crazy that it feels like a second chance,” admits Lewis. “It's insane.”
“Humbling. It's a so full of gratitude moment. To have somehow been given the opportunity to play for a whole new audience after 25 years, almost 30 years."
In this major moment of resurgence for Staind, the band has unleashed new music, with the lead single from their new album now available everywhere. According to Lewis, it’s from the new album, The Space Between the Darkness and the Light, coming “soon.”
“I know it'll come out soon. I know that it's done,” he explains. “I'm pretty confident in saying that it's a hell of a record, and I'm proud to put it out.”
“I think it's a great continuation of the thread that you can follow in Staind’s music, which is my lyrical content. And it fits right in with everything before it perfectly,” he adds. “Basically all the Staind records, start from the beginning and move forward has been an adult man trying to navigate his way through the wreckage that was left behind from childhood trauma, and I'm 54 years old now and I'm still trying to make my way through the wreckage that was left behind.”
