The mini-film features Puth and Carpenter as they explore a fictitious relationship with romantic moments from celebrating Puth’s birthday to painting their apartment and swapping “I love yous.”
While they experience the highest of highs while also exploring writing music together, it’s not long before they crumble. Spiraling into arguments and blaming one another for pain, their once sweet song is expected to take a heartbreaking turn.
