Panda Express has downsized its menu in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The chain has announced they are simplifying their menu by only offering their most popular entrees and appetizers in order to make it easier for their restaurant employees.

“Panda Express locations nationwide will be serving only their best-sellers for the time being,” the company said on its website. “The flavorful wok-prepared dishes with hand-cut vegetables take time and effort to prep, and Panda associates are working hard every day to provide comfort and nourishment to the community during this challenging time.”

The change has already gone into effect at participating locations nationwide.

As far as what is being offered, Orange Chicken fans are in the clear as the dish is obviously still the number one item on the menu.

In addition, customers can still gorge on all the following entrees: Broccoli Beef, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Black Pepper Angus Steak, Kung Pao Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Mushroom Chicken, SweetFire Chicken, and for a limited time Firecracker Shrimp.

The accompanying sides still on the table are Fried Rice, White Rice, Chow Mein and Super Greens. As far as appetizers, feel free to continue noshing on Chicken Egg Roll, Vegetable Egg Roll and Cream Cheese Rangoon.

Panda Express didn’t say how long the paired down menu would be available, but added: “We look forward to serving you our full menu again soon.”

Like most restaurants across the country, Panda Express is only available for takeout, drive-thru or delivery and has rolled out contactless service to maintain safety for customers and staff.

As part of their ongoing efforts in assisting with COVID-19 relief, the chain previously announced they would be donating $2 million in protective personal equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers.
