Watch the First Promo for New 'Bachelor' Musical Spinoff 'Listen to Your Heart'

All’s fair in love and music.

The upcoming “Bachelor'' spinoff asks the important question: could love and music make the perfect duet or will they leave as solo acts?

During Monday’s episode of “The Bachelor,” which found Peter Weber and his final four going on hometown dates, Bachelor Nation got a sneak peek at “The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart.”

The spinoff feels like a love child between “The Bachelor” and “American Idol” as it focuses on 20 single men and women navigating love through music.

The spinoff draws a lot of inspiration from the original: it will take place at the iconic “Bachelor" mansion, and the contestants exit out of the limos and are greeted by the franchise’s longtime host, Chris Harrison.

“Music is a great gateway to love,” Harrison says as the singles explore their relationships while living together and going on music-themed dates.

“It’s really the brain child of Martin and the producers. … It really is, contestants will be talented musicians and people whose lives and work revolve around music,” Burke said. “It’s an attempt to capture that love and motion and music are intertwined. How people find each other through songwriting and singing is the thrust of the show,” ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke told reporters at ABC’s TCAs presentation in January.

According to the press release, couples will be tasked with testing the “harmony” of their relationship through musical challenges including live performances. In the clip, “Bachelor” alums Jo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers make an appearance as guest judges.

But like any installment in the “Bachelor” franchise, there will be no shortage of drama as one scene finds a female contestant crying and smashing her guitar into smithereens while another couple argues on the stairs.

Stay tuned to see if champagne is involved in a much-needed sequel to this season’s #ChampagneGate, or if Jedd Wyatt returns to provide audiences with some more guitar serenades.
