If you’ve caught yourself recently saying — It’s been a hot minutes since we heard from Jack Harlow, as of today that should officially be of no concern. Dropping his first track of 2022, “Nail Tech,” Harlow made his solo single return since dropping 2020’s “Tyler Herro." Wait… stop, has it seriously been that long?

Anyway, as all singles these days, it arrived at midnight (Friday, February 18) alongside a music video, and in case you were wondering, the song might be called “Nail Tech” but aside from verse 1, line one and the visual opening up at North Hollywood, California’s Laqué Nail Bar, when it comes to nails, that’s about it.
Speaking of the visual, his latest music video was Jack’s first foray into directing, which he did alongside Frank Borin. In it, Yung Miami of City Girls, and Instagram famous Kelsey Calemine make quick cameos. While the song itself features background vocals from C-Tez, who also appears in the vid.
After Harlow starts things off at Laqué, walking alongside the City Girls rapper, the visual takes him from nail bar to boardroom, he then serves as quite the motivational speaker, plays a game of hometown football with his fabulous friends and coaches a winning boxing match, as he raps about his success and priorities.
“My nail tech knows how to keep a lil’ secret/I don’t wish for my success, I speak it,” he raps.
Harlow first teased that something was coming a little over a week before the single was set to drop, sharing a kinda cryptic one minute video on all his social accounts, simply captioned 2/18.
Then two days before the impeding date Jack share the single’s cover art and the name of the track —
Additionally exciting, ahead of dropping the single, Harlow also announced his official partnership with New Balance.
“In case you didn’t know, @JackHarlow (officially) wears New Balance,” the brand revealed co-posting the announcement with Jack.
