Cystic – Bound and Infected
Make way for Rat King! Good lord this Seattle power trio has returned with a mf’er of an album. This thing is HEAVY! When this band first showed up on my radar, they played a lot sludgier doom metal ala Eyehategod, but they sure have sped things up a bit as their newly released full length album Vicious Inhumanity is wayyyy more death metal meets old school Sepultura. I dare you to try not to band your head to this – it’s damn near impossible.
