What is up 12s!
What a game this week! That was phenomenal to watch! I didn't post earlier this week after the victory in Arizona against the Cardinals because I didn't want to jinx the momentum that these guys are gaining, but they have been clicking together better and better each week! Down in Arizona, where we have an issue playing for some reason anyway, our boys put on a display that was downright fun to watch, and now Thursday Night Football here at home in Seattle was just as captivating
Having been at the game, I didn't get all the best angles of some of the best plays that went on this week, but luckily, we have the power of the internet!! I want y'all to watch this play, and I'm going to break down a MASSIVE improvement!
Damn fine play right? But we already know that Russell is a magician in that backfield, and Tyler Lockett is our #1 stud this season, but I want you to take another look at this video and watch this O-line. They gave hime SO much time in that backfield. And if you look closely, it was all clean too. Good blocks, keeping a very dominant defense at bay all game long. I don't know what kind of changes they made, but I was very very happy with the progress, especially against such a rough team to play.
And how could I possibly talk about this week's game without mentioning the massive improvement with our defense as well? They still had a fairly easy time marching it down the field, but when it counted, our boys made some mighty fine stops. For every time Goff had a lot of time in that backfield, it meant that he had nowhere to go downfield. They had to resort to their infamous trickery to get around this ever-growing defense. And that interception though..
I know y'all are with me that you hate to win a game on a missed kick. But as we say here in Seahawks country, a W is a W. I was very pleased with the display this week and am very proud of our boys. Great teamwork, excellent chemistry, and coordination. It's fun to see our boys coming together and moving as a solid unit again. Can't wait for next week. We're headed to Cleveland to meet Baker and Odell. We can keep this train rolling 12s! Don't let up, let em hear you! With that....Mike Hawk is OUT!
