Been away for awhile but we're back...and quite happy about that. Believe it or not, we miss doing the show. It's our 'fun time', dig?
But today, for no reason we can identify, there was this strange, high-pitched whistle that accompanied the entire broadcast. At first I was the only person to hear it. Then listeners started noticing it and it became a 'thing'.
Was it distracting? Sure...but like anything I can't control, I found a way to stop giving a sh*t. However, engineering was on the case. I think they live for this kinda thing. And true to their profession, they figured out what the problem is. Bless their little socks.
Blessed as their socks might be, their knowledge didn't change the one pesky little fact that to fix the problem...which they assured us they could do...they would have to take the whole station off-line, effectively ending the show.
So we decided to wait. Hopefully, tomorrow, there won't be the weird hiss in the background.
All of that said, there's something refreshing about coming back and something goes wrong.
But we are back and could not be happier about it.
