Hola Bitcholas,
Today was "Big Dummy" day so, as always, we conducted a Mens Room Poll. In 'honor' of Valentine's Day, we asked which of the following 'romantic comedies' would you endure:
If you're like me, well, God help you...but otherwise, if you're like me, you don't make it a point to watch romantic comedies. Furthermore, the average "rom-com" is marketed to women. With that in mind, I've copied the IMDB synopsis of each movie and then provided a quick translation into terms that guys can understand.
"The Notebook"
A poor yet passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman, giving her a sense of freedom, but they are soon separated because of their social differences.
My title: "We've All Been There Before...and I Hope She Gets Fat!"
"When Harry Met Sally"
Harry and Sally have known each other for years, and are very good friends, but they fear sex would ruin the friendship.
My title: "The Bench Player is Lying"
"Four Weddings and a Funeral"
Over the course of five social occasions, a committed bachelor must consider the notion that he may have discovered love.
My title: "The Day the Good Times Ended"
"Pretty Woman"
A man in a legal but hurtful business needs an escort for some social events, and hires a beautiful prostitute he meets...only to fall in love.
My title: "Mid-life Crisis"
Those are the choices. Pick wisely.
Until tomorrow, do what you do best and STAY BEAUTIFUL!
And some tickets to #BourbonandBaconFest?! Don't mind if you do.
