1. Before finding success in The Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin, he was working as a studio session musician in London. In fact, he became one of the most sought-after session musicians of the '60s!
2. He's a member of the The Clyde McPhatter Club, meaning he's one of only 26 people to have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame more than once.
3. Jimmy Page was inspired to take up guitar at age 12 by the one and only Elvis Presley, and it was the song "Baby Let's Play House" that hooked him.
4. His father was James Patrick Page, and his son is James Patrick Page, making him the Junior!
5. He's a huge Soundgarden fan, which he revealed when he paid tribute to Chris Cornell with a video message at the tribute show. You can hear his tribute at the very beginning of this YouTube video.
