ALS is a rare disease, and rare diseases aren't easily cured. But through the #TrickShot4Snowy Challenge, research is being funded by generous donations.

If you don't know the back story, Chris Snow, Assistant General Manager of the Calgary Flames, was diagnosed with ALS in June 2019. Furthermore, Chris lost his dad, both of his paternal uncles and his 28-year-old cousin to this disease. Recently the #TrickShot4Snowy Challenge was born to help raise critical funds and awarness to battle ALS.

After being nominated by Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam bandmate Jeff Ament paired two of his favorite things to complete his trick shot - basketball and skateboarding!

If you missed Eddie Vedder's impressive trick shot, he paired surfing with baseball - unreal!

To support ALS research, please consider making a donation to the Calgary Flames Foundation to directly fund ALS research and new treatments at the most progressive institutes, including Sunnybrook Brain Sciences Centre in Toronto.

You can also make a donation to the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine to directly fund ALS research and new treatments.

Keep in mind that you do not have to be challenged to participate - go ahead and try a #TrickShot4Snowy, nominate two friends and make a donation today!

Happy Rocking (from a safe social distance),
