When it came to choosing an Ambassador for Record Store Day 2019, Pearl Jam was without a doubt one of the best possible fits. With a history deeply rooted in the record stores of Seattle and beyond, there is no band more deserving of the honor.
Pearl Jam join the likes of Metallica, Dave Grohl, Jack White, Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne and Josh Homme on the growing list of Record Store Day Ambassadors. These influencers help grow the culture of our local record stores, encouraging community participation and celebration.
PJ's live performance at Seattle's Easy Street Records in 2005 will be available on vinyl as one of this year's RSD Special Releases.
