The Red Rocker recently admitted that the grunge movement made him quite insecure when hair bands were on their way out and bands like Alice in Chains were moving in.
He was so worried about the future of Van Halen that he invited AIC to open for them on tour for a little added street cred, and he explained how it all went down on The Jenny McCarthy Show.
To this day, he's still friends with our pal Jerry Cantrell!
The Red Rocker is gearing up to release a debut album of all original material with The Circle, his band with Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson. The album is called Space Between and will be available on May 10th.
